The Healthy Life Running/Walking group got off to a great start on Saturday morning.

The group met at 10am for a time of exercising together (at a pace to suit their abilities), followed by a coffee and chat time in our cafe. The aim of the group is to develop physical fitness in a safe, friendly and encouraging environment.

I was worried about excercising and joining the group but the instructor went at my pace 1

All of the attendees left with big smiles on their faces, after an energising jog and a coffee-fuelled recovery time in the cafe.

One of the group members said:

'After having had several knee operations I was worried about exercising and joining the group, but the instructor went at my pace and I felt very comfortable and was put at ease. I really enjoyed the morning!'
