Half Term Holiday Club brings family fun to town

During the May half term here at Saints we opened up our building specially to run four afternoons of free/low cost children's activities.

The activities available changed each day, and included biscuit icing, jewellery making, a town centre scavenger hunt, willow weaving and lots more. We know it’s been a hard year for many parents/guardians, with reduced options for entertainment and long periods of home schooling for many. So we wanted to create an event that was cheap and fun to bring the kids to!

As well as the activities, we had free food hampers on offer for families who receive free school meals and a free toy for every child who came through the doors. Hot and cold drinks and tasty cakes were available to purchase for parents as they sat and watched their kids get involved in activities (though many parents got involved themselves!).

We hope everyone who came enjoyed themselves, and we can’t wait to properly reopen soon and welcome you through our doors.
